Sos Sargsyan is a co-founder and trustee of Open Borders Institute. With more than 15 years of experience in finance and accounting, he has worked across nonprofit, commercial, and public sectors — always bringing clarity, structure, and a sense of responsibility to every organization he supports.

He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and has continued his learning through training programs across Europe. Alongside his professional background, Sos is a deep thinker who draws inspiration from philosophy — especially the work of Nietzsche — which shapes his thoughtful, questioning approach to decision-making.

Sos also served in the Armenian Armed Forces, where he earned the rank of lieutenant and continues to serve as a reservist. His experience in both finance and national service reflect a clear commitment to accountability, peace, and long-term development — the same values that define Open Borders today.
